White Lotus Season 3: Our favourite Four Seasons hotels

Layla Sawyer -

After waiting in anticipation for its return following the gripping first two seasons, White Lotus season three has finally dropped. This time around, the series leaves Maui and Sicily behind and instead takes place at the five-star Four Seasons resort in Koh Samui, Thailand. While we’re getting to watch as yet another group of affluent travellers get caught up in never-ending drama that seems to haunt the fictional White Lotus resorts around the world, it’s not only the action-packed plots that have us hooked. We also can’t take our eyes off the beautiful setting.

If you’re looking to take reno inspo from the real-life resort that acts as White Lotus season three’s backdrop, we’ve got you covered. Here’s three elements we’d use to recreate this season’s style.

Natural Stone Look Tiles - Think serene spa vibes — using stone-look tiles will make your space feel like an exclusive retreat.

Earthy Terracotta and Warm Neutrals - Opt for soft, sun-kissed tones and timbers to bring that effortless, vacation feel all year round.

Brushed Brass Tapware - Because no luxury resort is complete without a touch of gold, Brushed Brass tapware is the perfect choice to elevate your look.

Four Seasons Hotel Koh Samui, Thailand

Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat

The south of France just screams dream holiday for travellers at the best of times, but add in Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel and you’ve got the ultimate French Riviera experience. While there’s many different accommodation types available, it’s the luxury villas where traditional design really comes to life. Villa Beauchamp features references of Southern France throughout, mostly seen in the mosaic bathroom floor in the master bedroom’s ensuite. Meanwhile, Villa Clair Soleil was built in the 20th century and oozes Provençal charm with its earthy tones of orange and terracotta, white-washed walls and exposed stonework as well as clean-lined interiors.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

Nothing says ‘luxury getaway’ quite like secluded accommodation with a view – especially if that view involves both lush tropical rainforests and clear blue seawater. The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles combines Creole design with French colonial and European influence in its villas and rooms. Sunken bathtubs and private infinity pools invite guests to sink into relaxation as they take in the natural beauty of the resort’s surroundings. Located above Petite Anse like luxe treehouses, the accommodation options utilise floor-to-ceiling windows, sun decks and outdoor showers to take advantage of the island’s sunshine.

San Domenico Palace

For fans of White Lotus, this hotel needs no introduction. San Domenico Palace, a Four Seasons Hotel was of course, where they filmed season two of the series while on location in Taormina, Italy. Converted from a 14th-century Sicilian convent, this five-star hotel has touches of historic charm with some pieces of decor from the past remaining while modern luxe touches such as a clifftop infinity pool and a Michelin star restaurant have been added. The views from Ionian Sea from the rocky promontory almost stole the show as drama unfolded in White Lotus, and viewers will be pleased to know the scenery wasn’t just TV magic but also exists in real life.

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora

French Polynesia’s Bora Bora has long been a favourite for honeymooners or those who enjoy extravagant island getaways. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is another option from the hotel chain which really leans into it's surrounding scenery. Speciality overwater bungalows and beachfront villa estates overlook the turquoise waters of the lagoon and the breathtaking Mount Otemanu – views that no doubt make visitors feel instantly calmer while enjoying the space. While the outside is unparalleled in beauty, just as much care has been taken inside the rooms. Traditional teak-wood furnishings and Polynesian artwork have been incorporated into the interior design, keeping in tune with the traditional design style.

Four Seasons Hotel Astir Palace Athens

Hello, instant tranquility! The Fours Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens calls itself “iconic, enduring and effortlessly chic” and, to be honest, you’d be hard-pressed to try to find an argument against this description. Drawing upon clean lines, a muted colour palette featuring lots of white and cream hues as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that make the most of the sun, the Four Seasons Hotel Astir Palace Athens is a calm sanctuary away from home. This 30-hectare beach resort is just 30 minutes from the Acropolis and lets you enjoy Greek taverna dining with views of the sea. Oh, and did we mention the resort also boasts three private beaches to enjoy?

Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah

A private island for you and up to 21 friends and family to enjoy in peace is essentially in our opinion, what dreams are made of – but Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah can make this a reality. The luxe resort is a five-acre, UNESCO sanctuary and contains a 19-metre yacht, dive centre, spa, beach house and seven bedrooms. The remote mid-ocean location features villas that tick all the boxes: private pools, private decks, private gyms and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the rooms to soak up the incredible sand and water views. Relaxation is top of mind with design touches such as open air lounges and over water hammocks offering endless opportunities to soak up the serenity. What more could you want?

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai

Located in Vietnam’s picturesque central coast, the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai is a luxury beachside accommodation that allows guests to soak up the tranquility as they relax in style. Choose between sea views or lush tropical gardens in the secluded beachfront villas with traditional thatched roofs. The villa options come with everything you need for a calm and comfortable stay. Private infinity pools, landscaped gardens, outdoor showers and private terraces are among the special touches that can elevate your getaway in this Vietnamese haven. And of course, the pools with plenty of sunbeds are the perfect place to lounge on with a good book and a cocktail.

Four Seasons Resort Lanai

While this isn’t the Four Seasons they filmed White Lotus’ first season in Hawaii (that was Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea), the Four Seasons Resort Lanai has many of the same luxe features that caught the eye of fans – but is in a more secluded spot. Located on Hawaii’s last unspoiled island, Lanai, this five-star, five-diamond resort offers access to a pristine beachside haven and is the ultimate indulgent stay. The retreat rooms provide unparalleled views of the water and gardens. For their part, the speciality suites contain bespoke Hawaiian furnishings and elegant artworks and their open plan living spaces means there is plenty of room to relax.
