Green With Envy: Adore Magazine's Renovation Reveal

Bridgette Bathgate -

In the interior design world, Loni Parker is a name synonymous with sophistication and style. As the editor of Adore Magazine, she has inspired countless readers with her impeccable taste and the ability to transform spaces into havens of beauty and comfort. Today, we have the privilege of diving deep into one of her recent projects - a breathtaking bathroom reno that embodies luxury. We'll explore Loni's vision, her unique design approach, and of course, the room reveal.

What's incredible about this bathroom is it didn't actually exist prior to the renovation project! In the old layout, the space where the bathroom now is was actually part of the dining room. Loni was able to reconfigure and move things around to squeeze in this extra bathroom. As the new bathroom is located in the centre of the house, it has no windows which meant it was essential to install a skylight giving the space some natural light.

Tiles have the unique ability to completely transform a space, and the Higlett House main bathroom renovation is an amazing example of this. It’s a compact space - but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with that punch of green.

TileCloud, known for its wide selection of premium tiles, was chosen as the go-to source for the tiles that would set the tone for this bathroom makeover. "Without a doubt, the hero of this room are those gorgeous Newport Jade Green Tiles from TileCloud. I searched high and low for the perfect green and these are just divine! They’re a glossy tile so it adds a lot of shimmer and movement within the green wall." Loni explained.

This gorgeous but small space only measures 1.4m wide so it was essential to use the right products like the ensuite size vanity and compact size basin.

Loni was incredibly diligent with her early stage planning to ensure every decision was made with space-saving in mind. "Another space saving idea was to locate the towel hooks in our shower area and place them up a little higher than normal so they don’t get wet whilst showering. As this is a small room we didn’t actually have space for a towel rail on the other walls. Our brass hooks are from Yabby and they work really well - the towels actually stay in place (I know it seems like a basic function but I have visited homes where their towels slide off the hooks!). Another space saver was installing the Yabby hand towel rail on the side of the vanity - it looks sleek and in the perfect spot for drying hands." Loni explains.

We absolutely adore this gorgeous green space, and we hope you do too. It's a testament to Loni Parker's exceptional talent and vision.
