Grout is the filler between tiles which helps absorb any difference between tile sizes when laid close together. Most grouts are made from a powdered mix of cement, lime, colour pigment and sometimes sand that hardens when mixed with water and left to cure
The primary purpose of grout is to fill gaps between your tiles to create a seamless tile appearance, prevent moisture from seeping into the substrate, straighten tile lines, and keep tiles from cracking or rubbing against each other
To clean tile grout, make sure you clean regularly and thoroughly. It is best to use purpose made tile cleaning products, such as our heavy-duty tile and grout cleaner.
